As usual, hot chocolate is a must for most breakfast! Somehow the hot chocolate always taste much better than the ones in Singapore!
Portion for the breakfast is without doubt, as huge as the previous days! Kept us full for a long along time!
Awesomely yummy granola with yogurt, milk and honey! Love the granola in Australia!
After a satisfying breakfast, we started our long journey up North to the Pinnacles. The journey was approximately a 2 hours drive.
Here's a little snippets of the CBD area in Perth.
In my opinion, it's not as grand looking as ours! It feels somehow under developed.
After we passed the CBD area up on to the expressway, it was yet again, a long straight road with nothing other than trees and bare lands...
OK, kinda lucky to meet some campers but they were the only humans we saw throughout the two hours road trip.
Just a word of caution. Because the road is so boring, there's a high risk of the driver falling asleep! Hence, please kindly keep each other entertained while on the road!!
As we neared the Pinnacles, the skies started to look really beautiful!
Since we were kinda restless after a long drive and the road is empty, we decided to stop by the road for a break and some cam-whoring session! :)
Yah, the road literally seems to belong to us!
There were literally a zillion limestones status around! Most of the trip around the Pinnacles need to be done driving. Only a selected few areas allow for exploration via walking.
I personally didn't really enjoyed the walking part as much as the drive through. Reason being, there were many desert flies hovering around us which, in all honesty, was oh-so-annoying!!!

Finally after surviving the never seemingly ending long straight road, we finally see the signboard for the pinnacles! What awaits before us was unexpectedly magnificent!
Can you imagine? These are all the cause of nature??!!!There were literally a zillion limestones status around! Most of the trip around the Pinnacles need to be done driving. Only a selected few areas allow for exploration via walking.

Ou trip to the Pinnacles was a rather short one as most part of it was done through driving.
We conveniently drive to Lancelin after we exited the Pinnacles. Lancelin, a small town near the Pinnacles, is famous for its sand dune!
Can you spot the sand dune from this photo?
Before heading to the sand dune, please remember to rent the sand board from the petrol station within the town. Rental is charged by per two hours.

In my opinion, one sand board for two hours is enough for two to three people. This is because, you will not have the energy to keep climbing up the sand mountain to sand board down. The most we did was probably three to four time each. Furthermore, do remember to cam-whore as much as you can because this will probably be the first and last time you visit the Lancelin sand dune.
Believe me, this is an awesomely dirty sandy affair, you do not want to go back again to get all sanded!
Yes, it's that bad! Word of advise:
1. To wear no pocket shorts and tee.
2. To wear slippers
3. To bring lots of water for rinsing yourself
4. To bring extra clean clothing to change!!
That being said, sand boarding is actually quite fun if you discount away the dirtiness involved.
After we are done with our 2 hours, we briefly washed ourselves up before heading back to Perth for dinner.
Please note that there isn't any public toilet nearby so washing up will have to be done at the car park unless otherwise, you are fine with getting the car all sandy to no return!
Changing of clothing will need to be done in the car with either your friends/family members help in covering the car's windows for you or simply just heck it and change inside the car swiftly. The latter was my option because there's simply too little props around to cover all the car windows!
We had dinner at Just Burgers, a popular burger joint in Perth.
We ordered two sides to share and a burger each. I being the greedy one, ordered an additional milkshake to satisfy my sweet tooth!
The burgers were good and filling. Recommended for a chillax night in town! :)
Next up, we will be heading to Caversham Wildlife Park to see the Koalas and Kangaroos! :)
Will be back to blog about it when I return from my Eastern Europe trip! Till then~
