Western Australia Day 3- [[ Whale watching + Margaret River]]

Awoke to another cloudy and windy morning. We had breakfast early and headed off to the marina area for our whale watching tour.
We arrived at the marina at 9.30am and set off with All Seas Charter on their yellow boat out to sea to search for whales.
The sea was really choppy. It felt like I was constantly on an amusement park viking ship! Just that it was really on sea with constant splashes of water!!!
Word of advice: Eat your seasick pills and bring a poncho!!
It was a fantastic experience searching and watching whales from a close distance. We saw two types of whales in total:
The south whales and the humpback whales.
We were lucky to spot a couple of whales flocking togther. These schools of baby whales are usually accompanied by a mama whale! :)
*世上只有妈妈好!*
It was rather fascinating seeing them squiting water and hearing them snorting! We even saw the baby whales did a body flip out of the water! Lovely lovely sight!!
After about two and a half hours, we were back on shore! Never felt better to be stepping and standing sturdily on ground!
Our happiness was short living as we received news that skydiving have to be cancelled once again due to the drizzle. *sigh big time!*
As we secretly prayed for good weather 2 days later for our last chance to skydive, we made our way to Margaret River. We drove around MR and settled lunch at one of the many brewery called Cheeky Monkey!
Ahh I love their outdoor scenic eating area. The cooling weather made everything extra beautiful! Feels just like the kind of countryside we often see on TV! As we were all still feeling slightly seasick, we were only able to stomach a pizza and share a couple of beer.
After lunch we continued to explore some wineries before heading to the famous Chocolate Company and Bettenay's Nougat Factory to purchase some souvenirs.
After which, we headed to Vintages B&B to check in for the next 2 nights.  Vintages turned out to be another lovely B&B.
The owner was kind and forthcoming in recommending us places to have our meals. We ended the day by settling dinner at one of the recommended restaurant called Settlers Tavern before retiring for the night! Fish dishes in Australia are really good! Fresh, fleshy and juicy. Every penny is worthy of the meals. However, that being said,  if you are a small eater, save the moolahs and share the food! Portion in Austrailia are generally HUGE!
Love caves? Stay tune to my next post...it going to be a day exploring three caves around MR!
