Daegu airport can be viewed in one glance. We were unfortunately stuck in the airport for hours due to Tyhoon Talim. Fortunately, our flight was delayed, not cancelled!
Upon arrival, it was already late noon. We were all famished. As the wind was very strong, we decided to find food around our neighborhood instead of venturing out.
We came across Suda Brunch Cafe which has a very cute pin-wheel exteral decoration and a flowerish interior. Love the feel of this cafe. We decided to take-away from this cafe. It turned out, the lady boss can understand simple english which was a plus to us! Ordering made so much easier!

The non-stop drizzle saw us changing our plans to mostly indoors on our second day in Jeju Island. We drove south to visit the glass castle, O'sulloc Tea Museum and Innisfree House which are all on the way.
Glass Castle

This is one place we chose to come only because of Miss Kwek! LOL. This is seriously not a YOLO kinda place to be visiting though it was an interesting sight to see all the sculptures made using pure glass.
The glass castle is surprisingly big. It was relatively quiet though. We only spotted a few families strolling around. We spent a good two hours here enjoying the peacefulness before heading off to the other attractions.
Generally, the Glass Castle is a great place to explore if you are in Jeju Island on a family trip with young children! Miss Kwek enjoyed the park very much with the many colourful glass sculptures around the park.

Just a short drive from the Glass Castle, the O'sulloc Tea Museum is easily spotted by the many tour buses and cars surrounding it. The carpark within is close to impossible to find an available parking lot. Many cars are seen littering along the road. Since we are not familiar with the rules and regulations, we took the trouble to park our car at the opposite open-air car park and walked a distance back to O'sulloc Tea Museum.
Though the O'sulloc Tea Museum sells a variety of products such as premium tea leaves and skin care products, our main purpose, was to come here to purchase the green tea spread and savour their green tea food products.
We ended up purchasing the set which consist of a soft-serve orange float, green tea ice cream and a green tea swiss roll cake. The hot favourite among us was definitely the green tea ice cream! Our least favourite is the green tea swiss roll cake which we felt was a little dry.
Innisfree House

Located just next to O'sulloc Tea Museum, the innisfree house at Jeju island was relatively big housing a shop, a cafe and a soap workshop.
These capsule mask are only available exclusively in Jeju. You may choose from two bases either the cream or the clay and purchase two toppings to add into the base to customise your own mask. These makes great gift for family and friends.
The soap workshop at Jeju Island's Innisfree House is relatively popular. There is a constant stream of people at the table working on their soap. We dabbled our hands on this and it was surprisingly simple and fun.
Just purchase a soap package from the counter and proceed to the table. There will be someone there to assist you though, most of the time, the instructions are self-explanatory via the ipad.
Dragon Head Rock (Yongduam)

We drove to visit the Dragon Head Rock on our way back home. The Dragon Head Rock is situated at the extreme north of Jeju Island. The Dragon Head Rock can be spotted from the viewing deck upon arrival. However, it looks NOTHING like a dragon head from this angle.
It is a MUST to take the walking trail leading to the other side of the Dragon Head Rock to view the correct angle. You will notice a series of stairs leading down the coastline. Do be careful upon reaching the coastline as the path is uneven. It is slightly difficult to navigate, especially when baby wearing.
This is the Dragon Head Rock which unfortunately the mister still couldn't figure out how it looked like a dragon head till I briefly told him the dragon's head parts.
Black Pork Street (Heuk-dwaeji)

After visiting the Dragon Rocks, we headed to the famous Black Pork Street to take away our dinner. The street was relatively quiet when we were there. We purchased our dinner from Hwaro Hyang Restaurant and headed back to our airbnb.
Black pork tasted the same as the normal pork we eat in singapore. Maybe it's just us, we didn't think it was worth raving about. It's nice but nothing special. Recommended to try only if its on your way.
