Western Australia 2014 Day 5 [[ Sky diving with Southern Sky Divers]]

Day 5 turned out to be my most memorable day of the trip! Yes, we were finally going to get to skydiveeeeeee!!!Yippee!

We headed back to MR bakery, as mentioned before, I love love love this place so very much! :)
As per the previous day, the food was as awesome as always! This is one whimsical bakery not to be missed if you are around the area!
After our hearty breakfast, we headed on to Busselton Airport for our skydiving appointment with Southern Sky Divers! This was a random choice based purely on googled reviews and pictures we seen on their social media sites. And since I wanted a beach view more than a city view and we were going to be in Busselton, we decided  to go with Southern Sky Divers. Furthermore, they were the only provided around the area that provides plane for three tandem skydivers.
Honestly, when we were there, the placed looked kind of run down. Perhaps thats how every skydiving operator looks like...? However, the staff were really friendly. They took the time to ease off our anxiety by cracking really lame jokes and yet at the same time, were professionally serious when it came to preparing us for the big dive!
Once we were all dressed and roped up, we were brought to the plane for take off! We took the 14000ft package that includes video and photos and so here's a mini photologue walk through for those who are thinking of experiencing skydiving!

My tandem master is Mike. He is a hilarious guy with many lame jokes. Unfortunately, i think Mike had left Southern Sky Divers shortly after.

Back to skydiving, there are 3 hights packages that you can choose from: 13000ft, 14000ft and the highest being 15000ft. Given a chance again, I will go for the 15000ft. Despite 14000ft to be a 60sec free fall experience, it was simply too short!!! It passed by before I blinked my eyes!
Since there were video involved, we were being interviewed throughout the whole experience. This was part of the recording where we were asked to make a cheer before we board the plane.

Once settled, the plane took off in a shakily unrealiable fashion! To be honest, I felt being in the vintage plane was scarier than jumping off it! Haa... but the awesome view made up for all the shakiness we felt!
Here I was asked some questions which honestly, I can't make up what it was with the Australian accent and the ultra noisy plane engine and so, the only constant answers I keep giving was: cool!

Eerrmm... not so cool huh. I think Mike was laughing his head off at my random coolness to his questions... hmmm.... yah, not so cool when I look myself back through the video! Hahaha...
So I was thefirst to jump! Was I scare? No!!
I can't wait to dive, seriously! When the pane door open, the view beneath was undescribably magnificent! You can tell from my mouth shape I was like: "woooww!"
All smileys as the rest waved me goodbye! Hahaha... I thought this photo was funny!
Yes yes... I'm about to dive!!!!
At the count of three....
1...2....3!!!
Off the plane we go!!
Pictures are pretty but to see this in real life, it's beyong pretty! No words can really describe the surreal feeling from skydiving!
Yes, soon 60 secondsjust zoom by and the parachute was out!!! Awww... no more free falling! Still thumb up for the short but beautiful experience!
While on parachute we cruised the sky and had a birdeye view of Busselton's scenic surroundings! No regrets choosing the beach view!
Here's alittle snippet from Mr Kwek's album. For the romantics out there, you may want to surpise your other half with this little trick! I was surprised and touched when I saw this from the video! :)
The whole skydiving experience took roughly an hour from preparations to diving to riding back to the airport base.
We were given a drink coupon each to be used at The Goose while we waited approximately 45minutes for the video and photos to be processed.
So off to The Goose we went to get ourselves some beers and myself some sweet treats! :)
After enjoying our tea break, we decided to take another walk around busselton jetty before heading back to collect our skydiving CDs.
So that rounds up my most exciting day of the trip! :)  After collecting and ensuring our CDs are working, we drove back to LT and YL's place in Perth, where we will be staying for the last two days of our trip.

The very nice hosts called in Chinese food for us that night for dinner when we arrived since the guys were craving for their rice after eating potatos for the past few days! The food was ok but not authentic enough. Still, we had a great time catching up with LT and YL. :)

Next up, we will be making our way to the pinnacles and Lancelin. Do stay tune!
